The Future of Hitman As A Platform

Hitman 4

I’m holding out hope that IO Interactive’s new version of Hitman ends up being successful. It’s already getting good reviews. As I’m writing this, Chapter 1 has a 77 on Metacritic, Chapter 2 has an 84 and Chapter 3 has a 75 for the Playstation 4 versions. Those aren’t extraordinary scores, but this is without a doubt the best Hitman has been since series favorite Blood Money, which launched a decade ago.

Hitman’s New Elusive Target launches July 15th

Hitman
From Square-Enix PR: The next Elusive Target will go live on July 15th. The target is Dylan Narvaez, aka ‘The Twin’, who will be in Sapienza for 72 hours. His identical twin brother, Gonzales is also in Sapienza and must not be harmed in any way or the contract will be cancelled.

Elusive Target Contracts make changes to the existing locations and use advanced AI behaviour to create a more believable and challenging experience for players. So players cannot rely solely on what they already know from the location or on any routines from the characters in the sandbox locations. Elusive Targets are designed to be difficult and ‘The Twin’ is arguably the toughest one yet..!
