In 1998, an underdog action game called MediEvil hit the PlayStation. Although it didn't make much of a splash, its likable undead hero and reasonably solid play led into a sequel and something resembling minor cult status among those keeping an eye on the fringe. Fast-forward seven years and exchange the PlayStation for the PSP. MediEvil Resurrection may have a few tweaks and go a little easier on the eyes, but it's essentially the same game. The main difference? Instead of a small splash, it slips silently into the water and sinks to the bottom.

Ghosthunter – Review
I fell in love with Ghost Hunter twenty minutes in. I was directing Lazarus Jones, ghost hunting supercop, through the sewers underneath a public school where a massacre had taken place years earlier. A chain was hanging atmospherically from the ceiling. I directed Lazarus around it, just in case it turned out to be some kind of trap.

Primal – Second Opinion
Primal looks great, and there's no debating it. Anyone into graphics is going to need to change their underwear after seeing the lighting effects, shadows and marvelously realized environments.

Primal – Review
There's nothing special about a game with high production values. I think we're past the point in this industry where we should be impressed by a game simply because it "looks professional." After all, there are plenty of movies that "look professional," but that doesn't mean they're good.
