For Honor Alpha Preview

ForHonor03For the last few days, I’ve been putting time into one of my most-anticipated titles — For Honor, from Ubisoft Montreal.

Although the game isn’t out yet (it’s currently due to release in February 2017) Gamecritics was given some “alpha” codes to get an early hands-on. A number of features were disabled and large portions of the content were not available, but this limited slice gave a very good idea of what the full title will deliver… And it’s kind of awesome.

Epic Games today released its free-to-play MOBA, Paragon, in free Open Beta for PC and PlayStation 4. Developed by the creators of Gears of War and Unreal Tournament, Paragon is a competitive 5v5 MOBA that combines the ferocity of third-person action with the deep strategic choice of a MOBA.

When it was first announced at E3 2015, Elder Scrolls Legends was given just a few moments before the show moved on. And so did most people. This quick fade seemed to happen by design, as Bethesda went mostly radio silent after announcing it. I had almost forgotten about the game entirely until I started hearing people talk about how Legends was trying to be something different, rather than just Hearthstone: The Elder Scrolls Edition.


Preview: Monster Hunter Generations

There are few games I love as much as Monster Hunter, and I’m thrilled to say that the next installment being released in the west, Monster Hunter Generations, is coming quite soon – it’s hitting the 3DS on July 15th this year.
