WTF An out-of-place Pipe Mania-esque puzzle in the final dungeon.
HIGH The best traditional PC RPG in recent years, now accessible on console.
LOW A PC-centric UI means console owners will spend more time in menus than they'd like.
WTF A "quick" save that takes upwards of 20 seconds to complete.
HIGH The Pet Pal trait. Players should be forced to choose this.
LOW Some of the so-called ‘puzzles' are mind-numbingly awful.
WTF The cheese vendor loudly and repeatedly hawking his wares had no cheese to sell despite them being in plain sight on the counter.
HIGH Realizing how deep and expansive the game actually is.
LOW It takes way longer than expected to become a dragon.
WTF The final third of the game risks overshadowing all that's good about the rest.
So, I've been putting in a lot of hours with Divinity II: Ego Draconis, but tonight I sincerely contemplated quitting the game in a blind rage and walking away from it, despite making it all the way to the last boss.
