Betrayal, Revenge, Repeat

HIGH Beautiful environments.
LOW The combat feels so samey.
WTF Why is Zenun even there?
Filed on August 27th by former Gearbox lawyer Wade Callender has requested sanctions against Gearbox Studios’ CEO Randy Pitchford, as well as accusing him of contempt.
Cinemablend ran an article recently that leveled some pretty serious charges at the gaming press. The article uses terms like "publisher-bought gaming media" and maintains that gaming press needs to come clean before games come out if they're bad. This article, if you haven't read it already, is fallacious and unnecessary.

Conan O'Brien is very concerned about the industry's shift towards non-violence. Gear of War 3 is just another sad example.
Did you ask what Gearbox was thinking picking up the rights to Duke Nukem Forever—the game that as its name implies has taken forever to be released. I mean, who still cares about Duke Nukem after over a decade of being the butt of every joke? Well, the people behind this fan made trailer certainly do care and they are probably not alone.
I don't get it, 2K Games and Gearbox Software. I spent $60 on your Game of the Year Edition of Borderlands for the PlayStation 3. I was happy to double-dip on Borderlands, given how much I enjoyed it on the Xbox 360. In fact, according to my Raptr data, I spent 55 hours playing it. I was looking forward to playing it again on my PlayStation 3, with all of the downloadable content (DLC) this time. I was a little concerned when I opened the case and saw a DLC voucher inside; after all, a Blu-ray disc has a ton of room… so including the extra 4.41GB of DLC on the disc should not have been a problem. Still, I was fine with letting the download go while I slept overnight.
HIGH A sequel to an all-time great game.
LOW Achieving an A ranking through most of “Tequila” (Super Hard) only to plunge to an E within the last ten notes.
WTF The Hustle move requiring one controller above your head and the other between your legs!
Brothers in Arms is one of the best World War II first-person shooters (FPS) that I've ever played. This is not to say that the game is without flaws—because it has a few that are fairly significant—but the game is so intriguing that it overcomes the majority of its shortcomings without annoying the player in the process.
