Let It Die, the new roguelike hack-and-slash third-person PVP free-to-play title coming from Grasshopper Manufacture (can we squeeze one more descriptor in there?!?) was one of my favorite titles from this year’s PAX West, and it’s coming exclusively to PS4 this year.

LOW The optional boss is a repeat from the main campaign.
WTF Slaying a gruesome monster and then having a pleasant conversation with its severed head.
The Borne Supremacy
HIGH Charging up an axe attack that stuns large dudes so I can rip their innards out. Neat!
LOW The Chalice Dungeons look and feel almost identical no matter which variations are triggered.
WTF The 'real' ending. Who thought that would be a satisfying conclusion to a forty-plus hour adventure?
The soul still burns
HIGH A silky-smooth framerate, and the added DLC areas are brilliant.
LOW The darkness is still not dark enough. Torches are irrelevant.
WTF Heide's Tower of Flame should be the last place a dragon wants to hang out.
