So, it's no secret that I am a big fan of Monster Hunter. Although the series does have issues (being inscrutable to newcomers or running the best version on the missing-a-second-analog-nub-and-no-true-online PSP to name just two) I am a true believer in the franchise and I think it has much to offer. Sadly, it's only been able to carve out a very small niche for itself here in the United States, but there's now an opportunity—maybe—to help change that.
Catherine, Catherine, Catherine… Only three more weeks or so until this infamously enigmatic title hits, and personally, I couldn't be more excited. Rather than explain why, I'll simply let the latest trailer speak for itself.
Not a lot to report at the moment.
Non-game work has been keeping me pretty busy, and since it's summer, the kids are active all day long and go to bed later than usual. Since I don't play single-player or violent games when they're around, my hours for burning through "grown-up games" are limited.
Atlus just confirmed that the uber-trippy slumber-licious psycho-sexy sheep game Catherine will be hitting the US this summer. This title is easily one of my most-anticipated of the year, and I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on it.
