Another two-man affair as grizzled multiplayer veteran Richard Naik talks with Brad Gallaway about Overwatch, the game that finally made him question his stance on hating fun of all kinds. Also a few words about the GameCritics impostor, who is still pretending to be us in an attempt to get free download codes from publishers.

Just to brag on my call but I’ve made 2 months ago here, about VR Early sales and conversation seeminly dead, with doubters getting it wrong again.

Confirmed with this

Isn’t it a bit early to cheer about death of this technology, 2 weeks before the PSVR comes out, the arguably most appealing VR headset for most people (because of the price, obviously)? I’d wait for the sales numbers on that before I’d go around in circles yelling at people “HA HA, I told you so!”

Maybe a topic on the next podcast, but my early guess is that the new console hardware upgrades with pro and Scorpio, won’t seem like a new generation hardly at all. Same controller, same or similar Playstation and MS UI, some Games that will be schedule fillers like we saw with the last gen that went on for too long, sort of like God of War 4 ( blaugh) etc.
I’m already worried that this Gen will feel longer and worse than the last. 5yMWH

Thanks again guys.

I don’t play overwatch or online games much myself, but has overwatch managed the impossible by getting some hard-core shooter fans to play with more casual gamers that your talked about, in the same game, let alone same matches online ?
If not, how close has it come to that ?

PS. Really appreciate the increased and quicker publication of reviews and other features on the new website. The quicker turnaround is very noticeable.
