Parents should have no qualms with the content; the cars do not become damaged and any language in the soundtrack has been censored. As racing simulators go, this is a fantastic value.

Racing fans, both the casual and the hardcore, should definitely give it a try. Gran Turismo veterans, however, may want to err on the side of caution by renting the game before buying. It is, after all, very similar to its predecessors.

PlayStation 2 owners would be wise to try the game—it is, after all, one of the system's most anticipated titles. Those who do not own a PlayStation 2 may find this game to be one of the more attractive reasons to buy a system. Additionally, prospective PlayStation 2 buyers may be interested in the PlayStation 2/Gran Turismo bundle that is now available at most video game retailers.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers will not miss out on any significant gameplay elements.
