Parents needn't be worried about the content, which is about on par with any popular fantasy such as Lord of the Rings. However, the intellect required for some of the puzzles may be enough to drive some younger gamers into fits of frustration. Butfor parents with slightly older children (say, roughly age 10), the puzzles in Revelation may present a healthy intellectual challenge.
Xbox owners who enjoyed the port of the previous iteration will certainly enjoy this one, though the graphical fidelity and ease of interface will suffer in comparison to the PC version. Fans of adventure games may also be interested in the recently released game Indigo Prophecy, which expands on some of the core adventure concepts found in the Myst series.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers can enable subtitles, and the game does not utilize any significant audio cues.
