According to ESRB, this game contains: Animated Blood, Fantasy Violence, Suggestive Themes
Parents should know the game is serious about hack-n-slash. There's a lot of killing of (obviously) alien monsters. Younger players may find even the easier difficulty setting challenging. The environments tend to be dark and claustrophobic, and younger players might be uneasy as well as frustrated.
Fans of Koei or hack-n-slash should feel right at home with this game. It's a good specimen of the genre.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers should be fine, as the game features visual radar to warn of enemies (in addition to the audio cue), and dialog is all subtitled.
