According to ESRB, this game contains: Mild Animated Violence, Suggestive Themes
Parents: this is a game for teens and adults. There is some adult language, often spoken in anger rather than in humor. There is also much violence, including both descriptions and representations of murder and carnage. Young children may be upset by the sudden shifts from light-heartedness to tragedy, by the shaky line between hero and villain, and by the involvement of child characters in scenes of wartime chaos and mayhem. There is also one delicate scene of implied sexual activity (offscreen), and many scenes of alcohol use.
Fans of role-playing games (RPGs) will appreciate the story and gameplay, although they may be disappointed by the mostly 2D graphics.
Fans of the original Suikoden will find that this installment remains faithful to, and improves upon, almost all of the elements of the original.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers should have no problem, as all dialogue is presented in text boxes. Players with epilepsy or similar conditions should be aware that many battle animations involve repeated and annoying flashes of white light.
