According to ESRB, this game contains: Blood and Gore, Violence
Parents should be aware that the game not only features blood and killing people, but sometimes the enemies and characters would explode into chunks of meat. While the effect is comical, it is gory nonetheless. Plus, the game features a lot of cursing, especially in-game. There is no sexual content, although there are a few lines of dialogue that hardly passes as sexual innuendo, which isn't anything to worry about.
Fans of first-person shooters may want to pass up on this game, because there's little doubt that they've already played several games more exciting, better looking and more refined. If you desperately need that FPS fix, then the multiplayer, despite its lack of support from the Geo Mod engine, should be enough. Otherwise the only exciting elements in this game are borrowed from the other aforementioned better games.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers are supported with subtitles, however most of the in-game dialogue helps you proceed to your next objective. While the subtitles are there, it's difficult to read because most of it would be during the heat of battle.
