Riot Games, the Los Angeles-based videogame developer of League of Legends, settled a class-action lawsuit on August 22nd, 2019.
A suit filed by two former developers in November 2018 claimed they were subjected to sexual harassment and discrimination in their work environment. They also alleged violations of the California Equal Pay Act, which prohibits businesses based in California from paying employees less than employees of the opposite sex.
As of this writing, no details on the settlement were provided by either party, as the settlement has to be court-approved first.
