Parents shouldn't have too much to fear. There's a lot of violence (it's a war game after all), but likely if your children are mature enough to be interested in strategy games in the first place then they'll have no problem with WarCraft III.

Fans of the WarCraft series will find III instantly familiar and should be able to jump into the game with very little trouble.

Fans of strategy games and RPGs will certainly feel like they've got their money's worth. The game is en par with the length of an RPG, and each mission generally takes between 30 to 90 minutes to complete. Players can also challenge each other online via the WarCraft battle network, or over a local area network.

Female gamers can look to WarCraft III as being a positive title that has several female military units and heroes that aren't always stuck in a stereotypical supporting role.

Deaf and hard of hearing gamers can enjoy WarCraft III to the fullest thanks to adequate visual cues for important events as well as the option to turn on full in-game subtitles.
