The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan is Supermassive Games’ newest exercise in interactive horror cinema.
Apparently no one at that studio holds a grudge over the definitive critique I wrote about Until Dawn‘s story, so I was lucky enough to get a look at an advance demo of one of Medan‘s early scenes!
Here’s a video of my playthrough as I find myself creeped out, thrilled, and reminded about the cardinal rule for a long and happy life: Never go on vacation with one of the Ashmore brothers.
Seems exciting so far – and it’s nice when bugs are resolved by simply reloading the game! I’ll be back soon with a look at the co-op mode!

Then there's his non-GameCritics blogging, where he's famous as the world's foremost expert on the TV show Criminal Minds, as well as the co-host of a weekly podcast!
