According to ESRB, this game contains: Violence
Parents shouldn't worry too much. Although the game is violent and the characters discuss killing one another, the violence is as cartoonishly unrealistic as it gets.
Fans of the series should definitely pick this game up. One of the few licensed series that doesn't regularly disappoint, each game is a little better than the last at capturing the feel of the game, and this one doesn't disappoint.
Hard-core fighting game fans might want to take a pass, as it doesn't feature any of the depth or realism that they've gotten used to.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers should have no real trouble with the game. What little dialogue there is between characters is all subtitled. Swordfighting can be a little awkward without audio cues, but all important dialogue is displayed onscreen.
