According to ESRB, this game contains: Animated Violence
Parents need not worry as this is a completely PG-13 videogame. There are no signs of blood or gore anywhere in the game. The appearance of the voluptuous Black Cat in her curve-hugging superhero uniform may raise a few eyebrows, but that is as far as it goes.
If you consider yourself a Spider-Man fan, then this is the game for you. It captures the feel of playing as the webhead better than another other licensed game ever made. There are also tons of little extras to be found and collected throughout the game as well as some welcome appearances by Spidey's "superfriends"—all things any fan would appreciate.
Superhero fans in general should snatch this title up simply because aside from the impressive Marvel Versus Capcom series, the only other superhero-licensed games are the horrendous Superman 64 and a slew of forgettable Batman games.
Fans of the action genre will find a lot to like here. The game has a nice mix of stealth, fist-to-cuffs and 3D platform gameplay.
Nintendo 64 owners need only wait a little while longer until their own port is released this November.
