Parents have nothing to worry about because it's just a sports game lacking the drug use and prostitution propositioning that is so common in the real-life sport.

Baseball simulation fans will definitely love the emphasis on stats and strategy that comes into play. MLB 2001 certainly offers features to fit almost any taste.

Arcade baseball fans will be disappointed because even though the game plays okay, it lacks arcade features and more to the point, its not too much fun to pay.

PlayStation owners really don't have many choices when it comes to ballgames as MLB 2001 and Triple Play 2001 are about it — and these games havent been wowing the critics.

If you own a Nintendo 64, I'd recommend picking up All-Star Baseball 2001 since it is a far more polished and complete game.
