According to ESRB, this game contains: Animated Blood & Gore, Animated Violence
I think parents should be warned that this game is quite gory and at times isnt for the faint of heart. Also, there is some potentially controversial dialogue dealing with the Chrisitian faith that some parents could find objectionable. Needless to say the game earned its "M" rating.
Fanatic RPG fans — gamers who must own every RPG on the market — will probably pick this game up no matter what. It is, after all, easy and relatively short so it could be a nice diversion until Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy IX hit the market.
Survival-Horror fans will likely be turned off by the slow turn-based battles and should stick with Resident Evil and Dino Crisis. But if you're looking for an RPG/survival-horror game that was more successful at combining the two genres, Square EA's Parasite Eve is available or you could wait a while for Parasite Eve 2 to be released.
