Absolutely agree on Source of Madness. I’m a sucker to see Lovecraft’s name and so snapped this up and, after a few hours, I know what I’m doing now but I can’t enjoy myself. The AI generated enemies seems to be the tip of the iceberg and I think the entire game is randomly generated including level design, enemy movement and ai and loot drop. With Loot, you find altars with 2 spells on and, taking one deletes the other making it very frustrating with 90% of them have the same spell both sides! yeah, such a shame… and honestly, i don’t see how the devs could send SoM out for sale in good conscience. it must have been one of those “oh well, we HAVE to ship something!” sort of situations. it just *doesn’t work* as it is. an absolute bummer. >_>
