I have to say, I think Brad’s weighty NIER and NIER AUTOMATA critiques would have more weight if he had actually played through all endings of both games.
Not sure whether you mean the original Nier (which I played and loved) or the new Replicant (which I haven’t played) but in regards to Automata, you can’t expect a person to finish a game 3, 4 or 5 times or if the first couple aren’t interesting or compelling. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ [EDIT] Upon reflection I think that comment came off as flip when that wasn’t intended.
