Hey Jez! Glad you’re enjoying the show, and happy we didn’t have to leave you high and dry! And it’s super dope to have you as a listener! I’m guessing it’s a strictly American term and as far as I know, it was most popular in the early ’90s, although Google tells me the first usage of the word as we use it was in a rap song from 1981. Who says podcasts aren’t educational?!?!?
Good decision to split the shows over 2 weeks. You’re spot on – I miss it when you miss a week. Top ten of all time was a great question which I’ll take back tonight and ask my wife. I don’t have a question (which I feel I should have), only a comment, but it always makes me smile when you say something is “dope”. Never heard that before (except on previous weeks of course) and sounds better than cool, or rad, or phat.
