Hi Guys, Jez here (from UK). Great fun listening to you both again. Keep it up. I’ve got a question: I’ve just bought a copy of World of Final fantasy 2nd hand for £15 as it came out 11 months ago. I get a disc which allows me to then trade in for another game in the future. If I downloaded it from the playstation store it would cost £50 and I’d have no physical copy to trade in. Whilst I want to support the developer, why won’t playstation store sell their games at ‘market value’ rather than recommended retail… Read more »

Hey guys. Good podcast. Sorry about that camera, Corey. Some comments about Tooth and Tail, RTS design, and game design and general. First of all, thanks again for bringing another lesser known game to my attention that I will likely check out. Since I rarely game on PC these days, I don’t see stuff that gets advertised on Steam or other PC distribution services as much. Hey Sleeve! Thanks for the comment. In regard to the game’s info on units, there are a few stats and sentences on their use but it’s pretty vague and hard to realize in a gameplay sense since T&T tries to avoid showing stat-type stuff on-screen. For example, the Owl unit I mentioned on the show (called The Matriark) says it’s Flying and a Spawner, but there are no explanations for how that works or what that means in the game apart from what the player assumes on their own.
