Parents don't have anything to worry about here. No questionable language, no sexual situations and the only violence to be seen are the explosions of enemy aircraft. Your kids may be bored or overwhelmed by all the flashing lights and colors, but there are no themes or material here to be cautious of.
Gamers in general shouldn't even think about buying or renting Giga Wing 2.The game was released at the bargain price of $20, but even that's too expensive for what you get. The game has no actual skill required and isn't fun at all, it merely throws 10 million projectiles at you in a spastic effort at generating some excitement. While four players can take to the skies at once, the game only lasts for about 15 minutes and won't be very enjoyable for anyone.
Shooter fans can easily find a better example of a shooter than Giga Wing 2.While the Dreamcast's library is a little light on the genre, the PlayStation is home to more than a few quality gems and any of the older 16-bit systems had a wealth of them. I don't usually suggest games for a different system, but I just cant recommend Giga Wing 2even to Dreamcast fans who are hard up for shooters.
