Capcom's Viewtiful Joe is an all-too-knowing parody of genre cliches in various forms of entertainment, from videogames to television to film. It's exactly the kind of game where one might expect a hearty wink after an enemy says, "Who do you think you are, some kind of Rock Man?"

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Review
There have been plenty of times when I've wished my life was structured similarly to the existential glee found in certain videogames, games like Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic. Puyo Pop – Review
You can't tell by the cutesy cartoon characters, colorful blobs with big eyes and little squeaking Japanese girls, but the basis behind Sega's Puyo Pop came from Russia.
Enter The Matrix – Review
Enter The Matrix was hyped way too much for its own good. Concerning the inner workings of the hype machine, it's difficult to pinpoint exactly whose fault it is that the game fails to live up to expectations, fair or not.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Review
As a child, I was scared of a lot of things. I'm sure if I were 11 years old and playing The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, the manic look on a moblin's face would haunt my nights. Some of the bosses are positively menacing. Even the thunderstorms in the game would make me think about how scary storm winds and lighting really are. That's if I was 11 years old.
Guilty Gear X2 – Review
Then there's Zappa from Guilty Gear X2 (GGX2), Sammy's sequel to the estranged Guilty Gear series. He may not be the main character of the game, but he remains a fighting game character nonetheless. And although his moves follow the basic principles that Ryu laid out more than a decade ago, everything else about him does not.
