I just read the “play like a three year old” article, and it was pretty painful. Developers need to play like a three-year-old… yes… if they’re making games for three-year-olds. None of the games in question are, and there ARE Spider-Man games for little kids. Seriously, didn’t she realize the ridiculous in her argument when she brings up him “running out of ammo”? Honestly.
Seriously, I feel like I’ve missed out, having only played the original Smash Bros ages ago (and only a few times). Apart from really hardcore fighting game fans and Nintendo haters, virtually everybody seems to like them.
SSBM is a AAA property, because every title has sold in the millions. I don’t get it either, but it’s a big hit on Nintendo’s consoles.
When did Smash Bros. become a triple-A property? Did I miss something?
