A straightforward sports game, there is no content in Sensible Soccer 2006 that parents need to be concerned about.
Sports fans, soccer fans and those new to the series will probably find SS2006 an interesting and arresting old school curio, and should consider the title if its economy and speed strikes them as a refreshing alternative to the theatrics and statistics of most modern sports titles.
Sensi fans should check the game out because they'll get plenty of hours of entertainment from it to justify the modest price points it seems to be finding. Ultimately, however, veterans will almost certainly pick up on its flaws more than anyone and prefer its classic forebears from the mid-90's for their even simpler but much more ruthless, quick and unpredictable gameplay—though in truth many of this latest game's flaws come from being too faithful to that decade-old model.
There is not one line of dialogue outside of the intro movie song, so Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers ought not to have any trouble playing the game.
