I can't imagine it's an especially easy task, making a Superman-themed game. There's never been a great Superman game, though, so without any ideas to appropriate, each and every time a new Superman game is crafted the developers are starting from scratch, with a daunting task ahead of them.
Game Description: Superman Returns was inspired by the hit film & tries to recreate the wonder of being the legendary superhero. Explore the game environment not only horizontally but vertically as well: Revolutionary new flight mechanics give you full command of your aerial maneuvers. Use them to explore a Metropolis that is not only expansive (80 sq. miles and more than 7,000 buildings), but also changes dynamically based on how you play. Experience what it's like to be Superman, like never before! Protect Metropolis from seven of the most notorious villains in the world, like Metallo and Bizarro Conquer more than 40 monstrous missions only Superman can overcome.

The successful balance between exciting innovation and comfortable familiarity is a delicate one. It's true that large doses of creativity can sometimes lead an otherwise solid project wildly awry, but on the other hand, there's little value in rehashing ideas and not going far enough. In the case of Just Cause, the developers have innovated with one shining addition, but otherwise let the scales weigh heavily with well-trodden material.
Game Description: In Just Cause, you take on the role of the flamboyant Rico Rodriguez—a specialist in regime change. The island of San Esperito is suspected of stockpiling WMDs and it's your job to negate the threat to world peace. This little tropical paradise is about to implode as various factions vie for power. Play the island's factions off against one another; incite a rebellion among the masses; or build alliances with rebel forces and drug cartels. Explore over 250,000 acres of mountains, jungles, beaches, cities, and villages. The island can be explored by land, sea, and air—at your disposal is one of the most varied and exciting array of vehicles ever seen in a video game. Wealth of missions side-missions, bonus missions, and many more—plenty of action throughout the islands Your support team, Sheldon and Kane, provide you with reconnaissance info, extraction and vehicle drops.
Game Description: Destroy All Humans! 2 is the sequel to the widely acclaimed hit! The irreverent sci-fi action to the Swinging Sixties with new and improved game features, open-world gameplay and co-op multiplayer. Go back to the days of Free Love, the Cold War and other 60's era icons. Use an upgraded arsenal of weapons and enhanced mental abilities to battle a variety of enemies from secret agents and giant creatures, to Soviet Forces and alien warriors. Turn the tables on traditional sci-fi action games by playingthe Alien and taking on the most feared enemy in the galaxy -- mankind.

A textbook sequel in every sense of the word, the game is guilty of hewing closely to a previously-established formula. However, Pandemic has made great strides to polish and improve an effort that was quite enjoyable the first time around, and their work is appreciated.

Unlike Dan, I didn’t think that’s turning a riot cop into a hero was that great a leap considering that the world in its current state has so many things for the average American to be afraid of—at least, according to the current administration.
Game Description: Reservoir Dogs follows the progress and planning of the famed diamond heist while filling in some of the cliffhanger questions from the film. The game remains faithful to the original movie, with gamers able to play all the key characters, including the infamous Mr Blonde. Find out what happened to Mr. Blue and Mr. Brown, where Mr. Pink hid the diamonds, what happened at the actual heist itself and much more. The game also features the full and original soundtrack from the movie—those super sounds of the seventies. High-speed driving action includes chase and escape. Full original soundtrack from the film, plus the voice and likeness of Michael Madsen as Mr. Blonde.
