Mega Man Zero – Review

The story in Mega Man Zero unfolds with good grammar and correct spelling, but the scrolling text also illustrates that grammar and spelling are not the only considerations when it comes to translations. To state the obvious: there are cultural differences to consider. At this point I am tempted to go about things in the most politically correct fashion possible, trying to legitimize both eastern and western viewpoints, but that wouldn't reflect the way I feel.

Mega Man: Battle Network – Review

From Mary Shelly's Frankenstein to Spielberg's AI, the notion of an artificial being, created in the likeness of a human, is a subject that continues to captivate fans of science fiction. Ironically, despite the interest, characters like Frankenstein and David are often tragic; their lives made miserable by the fear and suspicion of real people. Such responses arent always justified, but thats how people would probably react when faced by such beings.

Mega Man X6 – Review

The simplicity of some of these games is probably what makes them so memorable. With the Mega Man series, Capcom offered players some of the best platformers of their time, all the while avoiding complicated aspects.

Mega Man X6

Game Description: Can anyone stop Megaman? Far be it from the makers of this series (Capcom, incidentally) to quit while they’re ahead, as the Megaman franchise continues to get better with age. Since Zero expired in the last installment, Mega will have to work alone as he tries to save the Reploids in this chapter. Make your way through eight enemy-infested levels of play, defeating boss characters and stealing their weaponry. A randomized mapping system, variable endings, and all-new Nightmare System ensure the title will deliver the highest replay value possible.

Mega Man Legends 2 – Second Opinion

Well, Matt definitely wasn't alone in thinking that the original Mega Man Legends was something special in the midst of the usual flood of Street Fighter rehashes Capcom sees fit to choke store shelves with. Personally, it's quite exciting for me to see that the series hasn't been pushed aside and forgotten in favor of more predictable (read: unimaginative sequel) titles.

Mega Man Legends 2 – Review

I just don't get it. I don't understand why people don't like the Mega Man Legends series more. I guess it's just America. We wouldn't know a good game if it hit us.
