Panzer Dragoon Orta – Second Opinion

As an unabashed admirer of the Panzer Dragoon series, I find myself in almost complete agreement with Gene's assessment of Panzer Dragoon Orta. Being intimately familiar with the previous three games, I found it difficult to imagine how they could improve upon the structure of Panzer Dragoon Zwei, which I regard as one of the best shooters of all time.

Panzer Dragoon Orta – Review

The fourth in the legendary series that began in the now defunct Sega Saturn, Panzer Dragoon Orta sticks with what made the first two games (the third being a role-playing game) so wonderful.

Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II – Review

In theory, a game like PSO is every gamer's dream—join up with three other players from other parts of the country (or the world, once the Japanese servers get linked up) and go on an adventure to kill enemies, level up, and maybe find ultra rare weapons and items. However, like most utopias, the world of PSO sounds much better in theory than it does in reality. Unlike games with computer-controlled allies, every other character on PSO (aside from the monsters, of course) is controlled by another human being—complete with all the flaws and foibles most people seem to possess in abundance. These character flaws come into play regularly for some reason, leading those of us who are older, kinder, or just simply polite to wonder just what's wrong with people.

Gungrave – Consumer Guide

According to ESRB, this game contains: Blood, Violence

Gungrave – Review

For all its visual splendor, Gungrave is really just a mindless shooter not unlike those from the Super Nintendo and Genesis era. The gameplay boils down to nothing more than shoot everything in sight and keep advancing. Grave is a big, lumbering lug, so trying to avoid the barrage of enemy bullets is essentially pointless.

Gungrave

Game Description: Gungrave casts you in the role of Grave, a long-dead assassin sent to annihilate a mysterious criminal organization. The tools at your disposal: a gun in each hand and a coffin full of hardware strapped to your back. Gungrave features an intuitive control system that lets you perform a variety of graceful moves, all while unloading more bullets than in a John Woo flick.

Super Monkey Ball 2 – Second Opinion

With a solid base like the original Super Monkey Ball to build from, the job is simple. Simply adding additional levels and mini-games that share in the same spirit as the first game is enough to make this sequel worthwhile.
