ESPN NHL Hockey – Consumer Guide

ESPN NHL Hockey – Review

Hockey is a game of speed, finesse, grit and grind. Injury is commonplace, and the ability to shirk pain is viewed as a right of passage. Yet where actual players incur very real bumps and gashes, the pain I experienced while playing ESPN NHL Hockey was strictly metaphorical—a bruised ego.

Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution – Second Opinion

I think Gene is being a little pejorative by hanging that 8.5 on Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution. He labels it "user-nasty," then bemoans the fact that he had to spend time in the training mode—"slogging through command list after command list"—in order to reaquaint himself with the controls.

Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution – Review

Even as I took out the 20 dollar bill out of my wallet to purchase this game, I asked myself why I'm bothering paying to play a game I had mastered and even reviewed almost a full year ago. The answer is pretty simple: I really like the game. So much that I'm willing to pay to see the new additions.

Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg

Game Description: Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg is a 3D game centering around a young boy on a mission to save his kingdom from an evil ruler.Billy is no ordinary boy, however. The lad, through the use of a special suit, has the power to control the worlds magical eggs. These eggs can be rolled along the ground to solve puzzles, fight enemies, and uncover secrets.

Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution – Consumer Guide

According to ESRB, this game contains: Suggestive Themes, Violence

Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg – Review

That torturous, fickle experience I just alluded to combines with a lack of engaging play mechanics to create Billy Hatcher And The Giant Egg. A simplistic, by-the-numbers 3D platformer with inspiration taken from Sonic The Hedgehog, Billy Hatcher ends up lagging behind the genre's top games by a wide margin despite its novel concept.

House of the Dead III – Consumer Guide

According to ESRB, this game contains: Blood and Gore, Violence

Skies of Arcadia Legends – Second Opinion

I'm not sure what role-playing games Keith has been playing exactly. He seems to suggest that this genre is filled with deeply profound, ponderous epics painted in varying swaths of gray, and that Skies Of Arcadia Legends is somehow a sharp turn from these murky morality tales.
