Mega Man: Battle Network – Review

From Mary Shelly's Frankenstein to Spielberg's AI, the notion of an artificial being, created in the likeness of a human, is a subject that continues to captivate fans of science fiction. Ironically, despite the interest, characters like Frankenstein and David are often tragic; their lives made miserable by the fear and suspicion of real people. Such responses arent always justified, but thats how people would probably react when faced by such beings.

Capcom vs. SNK – Review

Capcom vs. SNK looks stunning. If anyone out there thinks 2D gaming is dead, they'd be well advised to look at this title, which will almost assuredly make them re-evaluate their stance on the power of sprite-based graphics.

Final Fight One – Review

Not much has changed since Capcom's initial release of Final Fight over a decade ago. The story, wherein a street gang kidnaps Metro Citys newly elected Mayor Mike Haggar's daughter, is unchanged. Players will initially choose from one of three characters: Haggar, who's formidable strength makes up for his slow speed; Guy, the martial arts master; and Cody, who's probably the most balanced of the three. As the player kills more enemies, other characters become available as well.

Street Fighter EX 3 – Review

Is there a videogame series in history thats gone through more incarnations than Capcoms Street Fighter? I really dont think so. Like ice cream purveyor Baskin-Robbins, Capcoms motto seems to be "31 flavors" when it comes to their most famous franchise.
