PSP
Game Description: Chili Con Carnage is one of the most outrageous action games you'll ever play. It features super spicy action with over-the-top, gravity-defying special moves. It also has weapons galore and some of the most colourful characters to grace a PSP: Moustachioed mercenaries, megalomaniacal crime-lords and chemically mutated super-Mama's. With 19 missions across 7 exotic locations spanning sprawling cities to dense jungle, plus four game modes from challenging single player modes to fun multiplayer modes.

Cute, sweet, and to-the-point, Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure is a brand-new franchise from the minds behind such old-school classics as Ys, Popful Mail, and Brandish. Falcom clearly still has what it takes-I'd even say that their latest is my favorite Falcom effort ever, and easily one of the best PSP games available, bar none.

Game Description: Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure takes you into a vivid fantasy world, with a colorful cast of characters. A strong-willed girl named Parin is sent to live with her grandfather in a small mining town while her parents are off excavating an ancient ruin. No other kids live in town, so Parin is shocked to see a young girl tormented by a stray dog. The girl is actually an invisible monster that only she can see. Parin is invited to Monster Village—just when Phantoms invade. Only the Legendary Drill can beat back the Phantoms, and Parin sets off to find it.

As an experiment of sorts, Every Extend Extra brings an independent sensibility and definite auteur flavor. As a retail-release game asking for my investment, it comes up short both figuratively and literally.

I'd recommend this disc for the historical interest and research purposes alone, so it doesn't hurt that the majority of these titles still have teeth. Without a doubt, Capcom is still one of the most influential and talented houses in the business and has been for decades. Anyone who needs proof need look no further.

Regardless of its flaws, I'd say that is probably one of the safest purchases for PSP gamers, easily trouncing most of the junk in the PSP section. Snake is definitely one of the most compelling characters in videogames today, and I'd take a slightly flawed adventure with him over another carbon-copy racing game or generic puzzler any day.
