Since their first appearance in Pokémon, Jessie and James (and Meowth) held the distinction for being some of the more unique adversaries you could come across in a video game world. Funny, annoying and empathetic, they were as big a part of the franchise as Ash Ketchum and crew. Given all that, it isn't surprising that someone like Malro-Doll would attempt Team Rocket cosplay.

It's been years since I actually cared about a pair of kicks or Converse for that matter. I would gladly make an exception though if Nintendo and Converse bothered to release these limited-edition Super Mario Bros.-themed Chuck Taylor Converse sneakers in the United States.

For proof of how ubiquitous zombies have become in our geek culture, look no further than this zombie-proof home. Normal people are probably thinking "That home would definitely keep out Al Qaeda!" but gamers, geeks and anyone that came after Generation X are thinking "That home would definitely keep out an undead army!"

Finally, an answer to the question of who would win in a fight between Samus and Master Chief.

One thing though, Samus seems pretty underpowered here. She seemed to call everyone from Princess Peach to Pocky and Rocky for help to take Master Chief down.

Some kids get parties where they get to dress up as their favorite super hero or game character and their Mom and Dad throws around some related paraphernalia (mostly store-bought shlock).

This four-year-old's parents went above the call to create something so authentic and detailed that its a shame the four-year-old won't remember it when he or she is older.

This is Jenn AKA XtremeJenn, AKA Lara Croft. She is what one might call an extreme cosplayer. Jenn is known in the cosplay community for going a little out of her way to get the best shots when dressed as Tomb Raider's Lara Croft. Case in point, this particular image has her hanging off a 165-foot waterfall in Victoria, Australia. Most of her photo shoots strike that perfect balance of peril and authenticity that in her words "capture the spirit of Lara Croft" so be sure to check them out.

Since many of you are playing Marvel vs Capcom 3, I thought you'd appreciate some Ryu cosplay. As cosplay goes, you have to give this guy the prize for actually producing a fireball for the photo shoot.
