Persona 2: Eternal Punishment – Review

Persona 2: Eternal Punishment is definitely an RPG in every sense of the word, but changes the formula enough to become a breath of fresh air instead of a double dose of valium. The bare-bones gist of the story is that you play the role of magazine reporter Maya Amano, who is tracking down a serial killer terrorizing metropolitan Sumaru City.

Sonic Adventure 2 – Second Opinion

The way I see it, the problem that plagues Sonic Adventure 2 is its simplicity; none of the two-button gameplay has any depth worth mentioning. Out of the three shallow modes of play the game offers, the Tails stages are the worst offenders, where you lumber around in a mech robot shooting everything in sight.

Sonic Adventure 2 – Review

Ill readily admit that Ive never been the worlds biggest Sonic fan, but I know a good game when I see it. When it comes to Sonic Adventure 2, I dont see it. Rather than beat around the bush, Im just going to cut to the chase here.

Unreal Tournament (PlayStation 2) – Review

It's clear that Infogrames wanted to take advantage of the hype surrounding the PlayStation 2 launch, and it had to strike while the iron was hot. That meant that like every other publisher under the sun, it needed a port or an update to an already popular game—and Unreal Tournament was as good a choice as any.

Cannon Spike – Review

Cannon Spike proved to be a good time for a short while thanks to the two-player mode, but it cannot escape the limitations of being an arcade port. Generic enemies, bosses and environments might have made the game progressively unenjoyable, but insufficient continues and a steep difficulty curve made it unbearable relatively quickly. It's amazing that after I set my sights low, expecting nothing more than a fun multiplayer experience, Cannon Spike still managed to disappoint.

Cannon Spike – Second Opinion

I think my main problem with the game is that it doesnt take enough chances. The arcade-style retro approach that the game takes is strikingly different from most games currently on the market, but the designers never exploit it in any remarkable way.
