According to ESRB, this game contains: Comic Mischief, Mild Language, Violence.
Parents should understand that the game is a first-person shooter and therefore contains an inherent amount of violence and killing. While most missions can be accomplished through stealth and require minimal killing, it is nevertheless sometimes unavoidable. The deaths themselves are all quite tidy, however, and there is no gore or splattering blood.
Fans of shooters and stealth games should find No One Lives Forever a decent game but nothing more than that.
Female gamers should appreciate this title for being accessible without being patronizing or exclusive.
Deaf and hard of hearing gamers can enjoy fully subtitled script and plenty of visual cues as well as signals through the controller's vibration function that occur, for example, when Cate is being fired at. In other words, the game has made every effort to be accessible in this area.
