Metal Saga – Consumer Guide

Daniel Weissenberger's picture

According to ESRB, this game contains: Alcohol and Tobacco Reference, Crude Humor, Fantasy Violence, Language, Simulated Gambling, Suggestive Themes

Despite the exceedingly long content warning, parents shouldn't be too worried. While all of those elements are present, the game is mostly harmless and even the worst of the violence is obviously fantastic. How concerned could you be about tanks blasting away at sentient carving knives riding unicycles?

People interested in becoming RPG Fans might want to consider Metal Saga. The low difficulty level and accessibly simple storyline make it a perfect place to learn the mechanics of the genre.

Of course, those exact qualities may make the game uninteresting for the hardcore JRPG set.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers should have no real trouble with the game. There are no audio cues, or even spoken dialogue in the game. Text-only here people, so hop aboard with no reservations.
