Parents should avoid Phantom Crash. While there's not any questionable or graphic content to be wary of, kids won't be able to penetrate the intricacies of balancing a mech, and they certainly won't be entertained for long, either. Seriously, if your child isn't at least in their mid-teens, buy anything else.
Hardcore Mech Fans might be able to glean a few nuggets of enjoyment out of the game, but only if they're REALLY into mech customization. The lack of missions or other modes of play besides the repetitive deathmatching severely reduces the games appeal. The multiplayer (up to four) is nice, but like the rest of the disc, it's too limited.
Armored Core Fans might want to check out PC if they weren't able to get enough mixing and matching from the six other AC games out there, but in all honesty Phantom Crash cant hold a candle to the breadth and depth of Armored Core's content.
Deaf and hard of hearing gamers will have no problems with accessibility here, although with the lobotomized idiocy of the characters' dialogue, they might be sorry that the text was included.
