Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade – Consumer Guide

Brad Gallaway's picture

According to ESRB, this game contains: Teen (13+), fantasy violence

Parents don't have much to worry about. There is no use of questionable language in the game, and no sexual situations. However, it is possible to strip the female characters down to their underwear, so just be aware of this even though there is no nudity. The only violence consists of whacking fantasy monsters with swords, but it's not gory or graphic. Pretty tame stuff, in my opinion.

Hack-and-slash fans might want to check it out since the graphics are good and it's the best portable game of its kind, but it's also just about the only portable game of its kind, so that's not saying much. It meets the basic requirements but fails to excite, and honestly, you'd be better off buying anything else for your PSP unless you're dying to go backtrack in dungeons all day long.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers will have no problems. All text is subtitled, and there are no audio cues. I actually played the game without any sound whatsoever for about 90% of my playtime, and had no issues at all.
