Hmmm, criticizing The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim's opening for being lackluster compared to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare's now (in)famous opening? Is it fair to compare two games from two seemingly disparate genres like an open-world role-playing game and a scripted, set-piece-heavy, first-person military shooter? Maybe it isn't, but it does sound like something GameCritics would do. No wonder we like this video.

What if the Prince of Persia left an 8-Bit Iran and landed in present day Israel? Could he cope in this new land? As you might expect, things didn't go so well.

Going by the reception of Nintendo's 3D update of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, there is much love for the Nintendo 64 classic even today. So it's not surprising that a group of very dedicated and talented fans got together to recreate that world in Minecraft.

The one good thing that came out of those terrible Mortal Kombat movies was the soundtrack, or more specifically, the opening song from the soundtrack. Not only does it get the heart pumping and the blood going when you first hear it, it also gets the feet moving too.

That must be what compelled these "cosplayers"—at least I think they are cosplayers—to just break out the ghetto blaster and dance like fools.

College Humor has done it again, satirizing whatever we've been occupying ourselves with at the proverbial water cooler and doing it in the context of video games—or in this case a Final Fantasy RPG (mostly). This time AMC's Breaking Bad is the subject and it pretty much nails everything. Again, spoiler alert if you haven't bought the most recent season on Blu-Ray or DVD.

It's easy to figure out why gamers lusted after this thing when developer Capcom released it back in late 2002: It's the mech equivalent of a racing game's steering wheel—on steroids—complete with the foot pedals and about a bazillion other useless doodads.

Have you always wanted to take Ninja Gaiden's Ryu through the worlds of Super Mario Bros.? Wait, really? You have? Or how about playing as Link from The Legend of Zelda? You've wanted to do that too? Okay, well, now you can... online.

While a little crude, this Skyrim mod is an oddly fitting tribute to the late Randy "Macho Man" Savage. Yeah!

I don't know how they do it, but the folks over at CollegeHumor are usually right on the mark when it comes to their spoofs. And they have done it again with their take on the entire four-season run of the sci-fi TV series Battlestar Galactica.

If you count yourself a fan of the series even after sitting through four years of political gibberish, convoluted prophecy and plot holes large enough to fly a Pegasus through, then please click on the play icon for one of the best arguments for why you shouldn't be.

For those who don't know, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has taken on Nintendo and Super Mario because Super Mario 3D Land for the 3DS features a Tanooki suit. According to PETA, this as good a time as any to call attention to the plight of the adorable tanuki.
