The GameStation is back with a sequel to its clever Mario Brothers/Grand Theft Auto mash up. This time, there is a new Don, a Don-Key Kong, stepping on Bowser's turf. Who does he call for help? The Brothers Mario of course.

At first I couldn't see Donkey Kong and Mario as enemies going up against Bowser. That was until I realized that, historically speaking, Donkey Kong and Mario have been enemies from Nintendo's beginning. I guess years of watching them pal around in Super Mario Kart, Mario Tennis and Super Smash Bros. skewed my view.

Finally, an answer to the question of who would win in a fight between Samus and Master Chief.

One thing though, Samus seems pretty underpowered here. She seemed to call everyone from Princess Peach to Pocky and Rocky for help to take Master Chief down.

It seems anyone with a camera and fellow film students with free time has made a Super Mario Bros. movie. This latest one goes at the Mario story from perhaps a more realistic angle. The story of Mario seems the result of a series of hallucinogenic experiences by the lead character. Are those really power-up blocks he sees? Is Bowser really a lizard? Maybe Mario just has a substance abuse problem.

When the world of Star Trek and motion-controlled gaming mix, the result is rarely pretty.

You know you've struck a cord with the gaming public when you get "immortalized" by someone in a  game like LittleBigPlanet or Minecraft. I mean, it says a lot when someone is willing to forego another Mario or Legend of Zelda homage in favor of something contemporary like Dead Island—not the game of course, but the trailer! 

Unfortunately, this translation doesn't quite match the haunting appeal of the eagerly anticipated first-person shooter/horror/role-playing game. Instead, it is quite adorable. Not exactly the effect its creator was going for I'm sure.

Winning the award for dumbest thing I've ever seen someone do this year is this video out of Japan. Some genius and other MENSA members got together and decided it was a good idea to deep fry a PlayStation Portable. If that weren't bad enough, they then concluded that it would be a good idea to then eat it.

Now how much do you hate Sony, the PlayStation Portable or living that you'd do something so asinine?

Rémi Gaillard's dedication to authenticity continues to impress. Too bad by standers and The Law don't share his passion.

A big jar of hearts for the creators of this fan-made trailer for tackling five of the big 1980s teen movies. (The Breakfast Club, Say Anything, Sixteen Candles, and two others.) Post a comment if you know the names of the last two movies.

It's just an indisputable fact that playing Dungeons & Dragons makes you a monumental nerd. Still, kudos to writers of Community for dealing with the subject matter without stooping to condescending humor.

So all of these years that Mario and Link—and by Mario and Link I mean me—have been devoting themselves to rescuing these ladies and it turns out they don't even appreciate it?
