Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Game Description: It's the mid-1980s and Tommy Vercetti has just gotten out of jail. He's gone to Vice City for a new job but he's been set up. Now every player in the city wants a piece of him -- mobsters, bikers, crooked politicians, everyone. Tommy's only hope is to take them all out and run the city himself.

Conflict: Desert Storm

Game Description: Conflict: Desert Storm lets you lead one of the best-known and most feared special operations forces in the world: the elite British SAS or the U.S. Delta Force. Covert missions take you through hostile environments where only your expertise in stealth, tactics, and firepower will ensure the success and safety of your men. Your missions are as unpredictable as they are dangerous: from vital Scud-hunting missions deep within enemy territory to highly secretive rescue and assassination operations in Baghdad itself.

Gungrave – Review

For all its visual splendor, Gungrave is really just a mindless shooter not unlike those from the Super Nintendo and Genesis era. The gameplay boils down to nothing more than shoot everything in sight and keep advancing. Grave is a big, lumbering lug, so trying to avoid the barrage of enemy bullets is essentially pointless.

Gungrave

Game Description: Gungrave casts you in the role of Grave, a long-dead assassin sent to annihilate a mysterious criminal organization. The tools at your disposal: a gun in each hand and a coffin full of hardware strapped to your back. Gungrave features an intuitive control system that lets you perform a variety of graceful moves, all while unloading more bullets than in a John Woo flick.

Turok: Evolution – Second Opinion

The Turok: Evolution is an interesting creature. It's story alone chews away at a person's suspension of disbelief—a Native American and a confederate get sucked into an alternate dimension, where dinosaurs have the upper hand on technology and territory. This is probably what would have happened had Mark Twain and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ever collaborated on a novel. Considering the story only has to go as far a setting a premise for the gamer to blow the heads off dinosaur-men, making complete sense doesn't really matter all that much.

Vampire Night – Review

Where Vampire Night differs is the slightly slower paced action on screen. Rather than having enemies clutter the screen and overwhelm players, Vampire Night has a more calculated flow and enemies tend to exhibit more physical reactions and gestures than one might expect from this type of game.

Turok: Evolution – Review

Turok: Evolution is Acclaim's effort to revive the series on the next-generation platforms, and the game lives up to its lineage. It is classic Turok gameplay, evolved and refined.
