I'm pretty much in agreement with Mike on this one. Quake III Arena is fast, violent and addictive—so much so that I found myself glued to the game without a care in the world for what I was doing, where I was or how I got there. I became so addicted to the game that my brain would liquefy and go on auto pilot for hours at a time—totally desensitized to all of the lightening-quick violence and utterly oblivious to the online opponents I was mercilessly fragging.

The Dreamcast port of Quake III has for the most part stayed true to its PC cousin.

Power Stone 2 is a sequel in the most worthy sense (I'm talking Godfather 2 here, not Grease 2). The game is still set in the same 19th century time period, maintains the same international-around-the-globe-mystical style, and the overall gameplay premise hasn't deviated much either.

Junk food. You yearn for it, you stuff yourself with it—salivating with each morsel—then hours later you end up with a sick, empty feeling in your stomach and a funky taste in your mouth. In a strange way, the more I played Diablo II, the more I believed it was interactive junk food.

Played from a diagonal three-quarter view perspective, the most surprising thing about Diablo II is its simple and console-like gameplay.
