I beat the Blink-182 song! But with only 492 points (so I'll have to come back to it eventually). And barely beat it (one or two more screw ups and I'd have lost the song completely). I'm going to take a little break from that game now, I was in the bathroom and my eyes were playing tricks on me--the toilet looked like it was slowly moving towards me. That game can be stressful!

Just finished Shenmue 2!
Best fifteen dollars canadian I ever spent! I thought the first one was great, but the second one was so much better! And the ending was just sublime! Its great to see Ryo finally exhibiting a bit more emotion when conversing than the average can of beans!
Sigh, the worst part is of course, that there might never be a third game! Yu Suzuki and Sega, there better be a Shenmue 3 dammit!

Holla!
Just managed to finish Project Gotham Racing 2 on Gold! Stupid American muscle series took forever to finish! But the Mercedes is worth the effort I'd have to say! The acceleration is fantastic, if only it didn't top out so early! Anyway, not really sure if I'm gonna try the platinums or not, so this game might be conceivably over for me (well, except for Live).

After unlocking everything in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, I was inspired to finish Story Mode in F-Zero GX. I did. And with all cups unearthed and beaten on every difficulty--including Master--I think I have technically "beat" F-Zero GX.
I'm still going to try and unlock every staff ghost and go through Story mode on Hard mode, thereby finally completing my collection of avialible machine parts. I don't think I'm at the point where I actually want to beat the staff ghosts or go through Story Mode on Very Hard--but time will tell.
That's three for me.

Last week - FF:TA. Last night - SoAL
Last week I finished Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced. Excellent game for a handheld, and I clocked in about 125 hours to finish it.
Last night I finished Skies of Arcadia Legends, and all I have to say is wow. It easily ranks as one of the best games I've every played. That I almost died a few times in the final battles, and that I almost got my ship blowed up fighting Soltis, just shows how well paced and balanced was the game.
If you've got a Gamecube and like epic RPGs, I highly recommend it.

SoA is indeed an awesome game. I feel so guilty by not picking up my copy and finishing it off. Somehow, I need to balance out playing FFX, Disgaea, ICO, Xenosaga, Mario and Luigi and SoL.

I beat Red Faction II for the PS2 yesterday. The good? Showing me the Dualshock can actually be of use in a FPS. The bad and the ugly? This was seriously one of the most boring and downright mind-numbing FPS I've ever played. I could feel my braincells die a horrible, screeching, painful death while trotting though the levels.
I liked Skies of Arcadia, but I must confess I just saw it as just better than average. It has some great ideas, and hits the spot on practically everything a RPG should do well, but it didn't really click with me. Perhaps the less than intuitive weapon colour changing turned me off too early. And the random battles left little to hope for. In spite of all this, I'll try to get back to it once I finish the mountain of RPGs for the PS/PS2 (read: probably never).

...man...
I was so severely disappointed with Red Faction 2 it wasn't even funny. I had my own personal hype built up so high for that game after beating the first game three times through and loving every minute of it...

Xenosaga, finally got it done it around 41 hours. I definetly delayed beating the game as I got addicted to Xenocard, which was the most fun minigame I have ever played. I was disappointed that the difficulty level dropped off near the end. At the middle stages, the game was a decent challenge, but at the end it became a lot easier. Still the fact it had a challenge makes it better than most RPG's which are simply way to easy.
Next up Zone of Enders: the 2nd Runner and Ico. Hopefully I can knocj one of those off before Onimusha 3 comes out
