Beat Quakshot for the Genesis. All those Sega made Disney games rule. Now if only I could track down a copy of Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck in the World of Illusion, the trinity will be complete!

I beat Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Then I started the new game+. Now that I have a better understanding of how everything works, I want to go through the game and get leveled up even higher, unlock all the character classes, get to the extra worlds, etc, etc, etc. I'll be playing this for months to come.

Beat Devil May Cry 3 a couple days ago actually. I've been forgetting to post it here. Man, that game makes DMC1 look like a cakewalk by comparison. And no, I'm not exaggerating. Fun fun stuff. It also has one of the coolest credit rolls ever. I'm playing throught it again right away.

Say, just what does the new game+ give you, anyway?

Its doesn't give you anything, all the stuff I mentioned in unlockable the first time around. But it doesn't really take anything away. You have to wait to get the storyline characters again, but they come back at the same levels you had them. You have to go back through and do the add shoe inventory, belts etc, but the level of equipment stays the same.
Basically the only reason why I'm doing the new game+ was to see the ending. Also, to unlock one of the character class, you have to have a character with a 25 level guin rating. So I'm only using him to beat all the earlier levels, so that I can increase it.

I JUST beat Jade Empire, like five minutes ago. Now to get ready to go to a meeting.
On another note, this is one helluva topic. I remember beating RE4 and seeing this topic here (and not posting in it out of baseless spite). Now that JE's done with, I can beat it again, or get back into my Halo 2 fix my friend pulled me into....

I think I've only played Aladdin for the Genesis. I remeber it was quite the awesome platformer though. I tried getting the SNES version, but it just wasn't the same...
Recently replayed The Secret of Monky Island, and started a whole slew of Lucasarts Scumm-based point and click adventures (Sam and Max, Day of the Tentacle) that I've never played before. SOMI is just as entertaining as I remember. I must say though, the graphics seemed so ugly this time through. If I hadn't already played it, I wouldn't have been able to distinguish quest-items from background art. I can only pray for full 3D environments with a point and click interface (no, Syberia and Longest Journey don't count, those're pre-rendered settings).

The only game I can think of that fits that description is Gabriel Knight 3. Its not the best control scheme IMO, but it works well enough. I suppose Myst: URU works as well depending on what you're looking for.
I think the control schemes used in System Shock 2 and Deus Ex could be put to great use in a 3d adventure game. Deus Ex could almost be considerred an adventure game as is.

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
Just beat the PC version of Republic Commando. There were so many things that were so great about the game that it's sort of a shame that it seems half-finished. Definetly the best wingman AI I've played with (but then, I've never played Rainbow Six, maybe that's a lot better).
Some great little atmospheric touches in the game, though, like your squadmates kicking dead enemies and looking down and going "yep, he's dead". Or when a Wookie lifts a superdroid into the air, the droid goes "set me down". Neat. It's always the little things like that that draw me in.

Well, I beat Amatur League on Timesplitters: Future Perfect. Oh, and going through MGS3 again isn't hard because of the Patriot. Or the E-Z gun, on Very Easy.

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
Just finished off Psychonauts tonight. Very, very cool game. I'll use my newfound pyschic powers to force you all to pick up this game! The end seemed to be the most difficult and annoying part of the game. Helping a whiney fat kid screaming about a bunny is not my cup of tea. Other than that, the game was one damn good, hilarious, wild, and crazy ride from start to finish.

Ok, done with DMC3 on Hard mode. I finally got to see the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda in human form. For some reason I always thought he was gonna look like some sorta pirate-Dante. I'm not sure why. Should I go through again on Dante Must Die? Why the hell not?
