Beat Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. That's an awesome game. Stealth, action, hot women, and a gripping story line. This game has it all. And the Snake Eater theme song was classic.

If there are, I finished it on normal, since I didn't fiddle with them.

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
Beat Streets of Rage 2 on my Genesis. I finally own my own copy, so hooray. The thing that always gets me about it though is that I have 8, 9, 10 lives up until level 7. Then by the end of the game I've used all my continues and only have 1 life left.
Also, I beat Spikeout: Battle Street online, albeit with infinite continues.

Add Super Mario Bros. to the list!
I recently acquired Super Mario All-Stars for 7 dollars. Best deal ever. I'll probably just skip Mario 2 though and go on to SMB3. Mario 2 frightens me. Something is just...off about that one.

Despite all my rantings and ravings about how horrible it is, I just went through Golden Axe on the Sega Classic Collection with my bro. I Just wanted to see how bad it was through it's entirety. It took all of 30 minutes. Again, nice tunes but a terrible game.

I beat Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat recently. Got all platinums. I'm kinda disappointed that they weren't harder to get, but I suppose its fine seeing as how I had such an amazingly fun time acquiring them.
Its a wonderful game, lets hope for a lengthier, more combo-riffic sequel.

Beat Timesplitters: Future Perfect. That's a fun game. The guns (especially the gravety manipulator) are fun and unique, and the dialouge is hysterical. And beating the game is worth it just to see Cortez disco dance during the credits. Also, the multiplayer is awsome, as always. There's an announcer, and the chatacters speak now. The addition of blood, although it earned the game a mature rating, is a good addition, and adds to shootihg the heads off of zombies. I highly reccomend it to all you FPS-lovers out there.

Maybe that's because it's not a real Mario game. I won't go into the Doki Doki Panic diatribe, but just know it was never meant to be a Mario game.

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
Just beat DMC3 on normal a few hours ago, and am getting ready to play through on Hard; normal actually wasn't quite as hard as I had read. It took me awhile to get back into the DMC groove the first couple stages, but wasn't so bad once I got a feel for it. Awesome game though (at least for me.. I never claimed to have good taste).

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
After having recently finished Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, and having been solidly disappointed, I picked up again my good old Aliens versus Predator, that I hadn't played for several years.
Yesterday, in a straight four-five hours of intensive play with lights off and volume at max, I finished the marine campaign at the hardest level of difficulty (some things you never forget, it seems). No matter how old, this game is just one thing: Pure adrenaline.

Me too.
Naturally, when SMB2 came state-side there wasn't any way us kids could have known it wasn't an original SMB game. All it was was the DAMN SEQUEL TO THE MOST POPULAR GAME ON THE NES. That was good enough for me! I loved every minute of that game. And the music... awesome.

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
I finally beat Metal Gear Solid. I had problems beating the last boss, got frustrated and set it down for a few days. Its a great game, but I didn't enjoy it all that much, mainly b/c I don't really like stealth games. But I reakky enjoyed the story, which alone was worth playing the game.
