Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
Beat Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, and promptly traded in the ugly piece of crap for SMT: Nocturne (I guess it gets harder later? I put in a couple hours last night and it seemed to have your standard RPG difficulty. But I'm not playing on "hard.").
Also beat Katamari Damacy. Hardly mastered it, but did get the credits to roll, so I think it counts. Racing to unlock free play mode in the last level (Make the Moon!) was pretty fun, but on the whole I didn't like the game as much as most of you guys and gals seemed to.

Just finished Beyond Good & Evil by Michel Ancel. It is now one of my favorite games ever. I wouldn't mind playing it again. If they don't make a sequel, I'll... um, be angry. I don't know how Ancel planned on continuing the story after those plot twists, but I'm excited just thinking about it.

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
I've gotten about a third of the way through my second playthrough now. I've never played a game twice at a time before, but this game was so good I wanted to start again immediately.

Hey, what's the biggest percentage complete anyone has ever gotten in Timesplitters 2. I haven't been able to do anything to make more progress recently. My percentage is 93.8. Anyone have a bigger one?

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
I know it's OLD, but I just bought it used.
Jak and Dexter: The Precursor Legacy
I was surprised at how "easy" the game was.
I skipped an entire "area" of the game accidentally and was still able to have enough orbs to complete the game.
Most times though, the difficulty was perfect, and I do mean perfect. I just really dislike missing an entire "area" of a game.
The game has a great "style" and the humor was well balanced and.... well...... humorous.
Great game for any platform gamer and even maybe for a few of those non-platform or anti-kiddie game gamers.
If you haven't played it, pick up a used copy cheap and give it a try.
I like my "serious" and "adult" games as much as the next guy, but that doesn't mean games like Jak and Dexter can't provide a blast of classically "fun" gameplay.

I love that game, but I've not played it in a while. Frankly, I find it to be rather difficult (not that it will stop me altogether). However, my grrl's son did a lot of it, but I don't know what his score is; I'll find out.
And as much as I wanted to go back to Nocturne this weekend, I didn't. Instead, I pulled out Enter the Matrix from so very long ago and finished both character's bits. While the controls were wonky and the driving/shooting portions were abominable, generally I had a fun time playing. (And, I've gotten much better at playing console games than when I first got it, b/c I fairly much breezed right through it.)

all you do is get in the zone. to do this listen to rock music turn theTV volume down all the way then eat some thing that requiers a stick like a sucker or a popsicle then eat it and play your game keep the stick though you are going to bite on it when you get scared some thing bad is going to happen and then you just just play. hey it worked for me on need for speed underground...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
I really should've posted in here many times.
Games beat recently:
Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time
Gungrave O.D.
Katamari Damacy
Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal
And I'll probably be adding GTA:SA to this list soon.

Man, it feels like forever since I've last posted here. I've just been playing a lot of longer games lately.
Anyways, I just got one of the four real endings on Contra: Hard Corps. I have learned that even if you totally memorize all the attacks from enemies, you can still get your ass utterly kicked. Great game though.
