And..? Did it hold up throughout? Or are you working on a review..?
I must suggest SMT: Nocturne for your next game. It's absolutely friggin' fantastic!

I beat Fable a week ago. I am currently trying to beat the game as an evil hero. It's a wonderful game, just a shame the gameplay is shorter than expected.

Kant, without a doubt, that is the biggest attachment you have ever posted. Kudos.

I beat Star Ocean: Till The End of Time. The main problem with the game is the plot takes about 20 hours for it to really pick up. Thankfully, with some tweaks, the battle system is what kept me playing until the plot twist.

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
Just beat Simpsons: Hit & Run for the X-Box. I didn't get all the extras, as collecting wasn't much fun for me, and the scrapbook where you could see the extras you collected was underwhelming. It was actually a challenging game for me, because I have no racing game
chops. Has anyone here beat it and seen the extra movie, and if so, is it worth a damn?
And Volume 3 sounds very cool; I actually am looking forward to a sports game. Now if they'd only make Atari Basketball unlockable, I'd be a happy camper.

I just finished this really old game last nite. It's called "Waiting for the Red Sox to Smash the Yankees into Tiny Tragic Fragments of Blue and White". The pace was stately but the ending payoff was just grand.

Was that not awesome!!! Like I said yesterday, I don't even like sports, but I despise the Yankees. Anyway, now if the Bo-Sox can only put that last bit o' the Bambino's curse to rest..

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
Just beat Monster Hunter, offline of course. There are still 3 or 4 hidden quests, but I've done all of the main ones. I feel pity for those who don't have online access for this game. You can carry the same character back and forth online and off, so I would come to the offline quests with lots of nice armor, weapons, and money that would take a lot more patience to get playing entirely offline. It would take roughly the same amount of time, but you'd be doing it all alone, so it would get pretty boring I imagine. Some of these wyverns were real bitches, so I can only imagine how it is for those poor offliners. It felt damned good taking them down though, considering how down-to-the-wire many of the encounters were.

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!
Hallelujah! I just beat Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time .
I thought the combat became incredibly challenging around the halfway point but then I reached the 'At Last We're Here!' level at 81% - the battle on the big elevator. God Almighty this was a whole new world of hard. But after around the 40th attempt I finally DESTROYED the entire and seemingly endless procession of fiends, and the rest was a breeze.
But even with the sometimes frustrating combat, this game captivated me completely.
And I aim to play through the final section again tomorrow just to hear the heartbreakingly beautiful end credits theme song .
