Indie Royale bundle

Here. Only bought it for the adventure game, which looks similar to nineties classic Beneath A Steel Sky, but it comes with three other games at a low (and ever-changing) cost. The cost seems to fluctuate based on what other people pay for it. For example, when I bought it last night it was £1.85, now it's £3.15. Still seems like a great deal.

I didn't realize until it was almost too late that this isn't the same group behind the Humble Indie Bundles. Not that that's a bad thing, except that I almost overpaid here because (in hindsight) I had underpaid on some of the Humble Bundles. Also, this one isn't associated with charity in any way.

It still seems like a great deal, and I still went ahead and bought it, I just didn't pay as much. Just a heads up if anyone is in a similar boat.

The thing I like about this compared to the Humble Bundles (which are great, by the way), is that there are more planned, as it says on the website. It tells you when they are, so there's no excuse for missing them, unlike the Humble Bundles (nearly missed the last, fairly great, one, but luckily Li-Ion posted about it).

It's great that someone saw the Humble Indie Bundle and how successful that was and now here is its succeeding replica, the Indie Royale. I would certainly buy the bundle that's on offer if I didn't have one out of the four games already. However I have always wanted to try out Nimbus and Sanctum so I suppose I could put an offer in. Gemini Rue, the game I already have, has just become available on Steam but this is already the better offer, and it's a fantastic game. Can't wait to see what the future bundles are going to offer?

I've bought bundles like these before, even though I've already owned one or more of the games. It's usually still a great deal!
